Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in Bradford, West Yorkshire. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conceptualisation and design to deployment and maintenance. You’ll work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers within an agile framework to deliver high-quality solutions that directly impact our clients’ success. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications across the full stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative features.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code using best practices and established design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future of our technical landscape.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance our development processes and product offerings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Extensive experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Strong back-end development skills with experience in Node.js, Python, Java, or C#/.NET
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL; NoSQL e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Docker and containerisation technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
