Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and carefully bag customers' groceries at the checkout counter.
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries.
  • Assist customers with carrying out their groceries to their vehicles as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bagging area, ensuring it is tidy and free of clutter.
  • Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and store interior, returning them to designated areas.
  • Support store staff with basic merchandising tasks, such as tidying shelves and restocking items when not actively bagging.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Be a proactive team member, ready to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.

  • Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Familiarity with local Mozambican languages (e.g., Sena, Chuabo) in addition to Portuguese.
