Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Fumigation Technicians with the preparation and application of fumigants.
- Learn and adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies for fumigation.
- Help with the setup, monitoring, and breakdown of fumigation equipment.
- Conduct pre-fumigation inspections and post-fumigation clean-up tasks.
- Assist in sealing structures, placing warning signs, and ensuring public safety during fumigation operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and observations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to advance skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and safety concerns.
- Safely handle and transport fumigation chemicals and equipment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environmental conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
