Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential individual donors, businesses, and community organizations for fundraising initiatives.
- Develop and execute creative fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach strategies targeting the Lethbridge community.
- Engage with prospective donors through various channels (phone, email, in-person meetings, social media) to articulate our mission and solicit contributions.
- Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and appeal letters to secure financial and in-kind support.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions using CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fundraising efforts align with organizational goals and program needs.
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, and volunteer coordination.
- Represent Career.zycto at community events and networking opportunities to raise awareness and cultivate relationships.
- Provide regular reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement, and campaign outcomes.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (university or college).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Enthusiastic and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
