Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative fundraising campaigns to meet targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community groups.
- Organise and manage fundraising events, from concept to execution.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and reports for potential and existing supporters.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions using CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand funding needs and communicate impact effectively.
- Represent Career.zycto at local community events and networking opportunities.
- Research potential funding sources and stay informed about fundraising best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or public relations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge).
- Understanding of the local community and charitable landscape in the North East.
