Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies for individual, corporate, and grant giving sectors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, ensuring regular communication and stewardship.
- Identify and research prospective donors, foundations, and corporate partners for potential funding opportunities.
- Write compelling grant proposals, funding applications, and donor reports.
- Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals.
- Manage donor databases and CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities, preparing regular reports on progress towards targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, program management) to develop fundraising materials and content.
- Stay informed about fundraising trends, best practices, and relevant legislation.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German (C1 level minimum).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful fundraising strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
