Key Responsibilities
- Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and blowing.
- Plant, cultivate, prune, fertilize, and water flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
- Monitor plant health, identify and treat pests or diseases using appropriate methods.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare soil and planting beds for new installations.
- Implement irrigation schedules and systems management.
- Clear debris and maintain cleanliness of all garden areas.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as mulching, leaf removal, and winterization.
- Collaborate with the property management team on landscape design and improvement projects.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory of gardening supplies and report needs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Gardener or Landscaper
- Solid knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and common plant diseases/pests
- Proficiency in operating various gardening tools and equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
