Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance of lawns, including mowing, edging, and weeding.
- Cultivate and maintain flowerbeds, shrubs, hedges, and trees, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering.
- Operate and maintain a variety of gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
- Monitor plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutritional deficiencies and apply appropriate treatments.
- Manage and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all external compound areas, including pathways and parking lots.
- Assist in the design and execution of minor landscape projects and enhancements.
- Remove green waste and ensure proper disposal or composting.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
- Provide recommendations for plant selection, soil improvement, and sustainable gardening practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in professional gardening or landscaping.
- Solid knowledge of plant care, including various types of plants, local flora, soil conditions, and fertilization techniques.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining standard gardening machinery and hand tools.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetic presentation.
