Job Description
Are you an experienced and passionate gardener with a keen eye for detail and a heart for service? Career.zycto is partnering with an esteemed residential care facility in Roysambu, Nairobi, dedicated to creating a vibrant and supportive environment for its residents. We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to become an integral part of their team, ensuring our outdoor spaces are not just maintained, but flourish into beautiful, therapeutic havens.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive care and upkeep of all gardens, lawns, and green areas within the residential care property. This isn’t merely about cutting grass; it’s about cultivating an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty that directly contributes to the well-being and happiness of our residents. Imagine the joy your carefully tended flowerbeds bring, or the peacefulness of a perfectly manicured lawn where residents can relax and connect with nature. Your work will provide comfort, stimulate senses, and offer a sense of calm to those who call our facility home.
We are looking for someone who takes immense pride in their work, understands the diverse needs of various plant species in the local climate, and is proficient in sustainable gardening practices. You will be expected to manage planting schedules, pest control, irrigation systems, and general landscape maintenance with minimal supervision. Beyond technical skills, we value a respectful and empathetic approach, as you will be working within a community that requires sensitivity and discretion.
The ideal candidate will not only possess the horticultural expertise but also a genuine desire to make a difference in the daily lives of elderly or vulnerable individuals. Your dedication to creating and maintaining stunning outdoor environments will leave a lasting positive impression, enhancing the quality of life for every resident and visitor. If you are ready to apply your green thumb in a meaningful way, contributing to a caring community where your efforts are genuinely appreciated and visible every single day, we encourage you to apply. Join us in cultivating beauty and fostering a sense of peace and belonging through the power of nature.
