Job Description
Are you a passionate and skilled Gardener with a keen eye for detail and a profound love for cultivating vibrant residential landscapes? Wana Property Management & Real Estate Kenya Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener specializing in Plant Care to join our esteemed team in Kakamega County. We manage a diverse portfolio of high-end residential properties and are committed to ensuring every landscape we oversee is not only aesthetically pleasing but also thriving, healthy, and environmentally sustainable. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who takes immense pride in their work, possesses an in-depth understanding of plant health, and is eager to contribute significantly to the beauty, serenity, and value of our clients’ homes.
At Wana Property Management, we firmly believe that a meticulously maintained garden significantly enhances the living experience, promotes well-being, and substantially increases property value. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive care and ongoing maintenance of various residential gardens, ensuring all plants, shrubs, trees, and other flora are healthy, well-nourished, disease-free, and beautifully presented throughout all seasons. This role requires more than just basic gardening; it calls for expert knowledge in plant identification, intricate pest and disease management, soil analysis and amendment, efficient irrigation techniques, and the implementation of sustainable gardening practices specifically tailored to the unique climate and environmental conditions of Kakamega County. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, managing your time effectively across different properties, and collaboratively, bringing your horticultural expertise to bear on diverse garden types – from intricate ornamental flowerbeds and delicate exotic plant collections to productive kitchen gardens, robust hedges, and lush, manicured lawns. If you are someone who genuinely enjoys hands-on outdoor work, delights in seeing the tangible and beautiful results of your dedicated efforts, and can communicate effectively and professionally with property owners or managers, then we strongly encourage you to apply. Join us in our mission to create and maintain stunning, living outdoor spaces that our valued clients will cherish for years to come.
