Key Responsibilities
- Perform general site clean-up and maintenance, ensuring a tidy and safe working environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision, as required.
- Dig trenches, shovel earth, and move aggregates manually or with basic equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules.
- Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after construction activities.
- Handle and transport waste materials for proper disposal.
- Support site logistics, including setting up and dismantling temporary structures.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and perform strenuous tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
