Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general site clean-up and maintenance, ensuring a tidy and safe working environment.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision, as required.
  • Dig trenches, shovel earth, and move aggregates manually or with basic equipment.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules.
  • Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after construction activities.
  • Handle and transport waste materials for proper disposal.
  • Support site logistics, including setting up and dismantling temporary structures.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and perform strenuous tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.
  • Punctuality and commitment to attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a general labor or construction role.
  • Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • Basic knowledge of tool operation and maintenance.
  • First Aid certification.
