Key Responsibilities
- Perform various manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with their tasks on job sites.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and organization of materials.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, cleaning up debris, and waste removal.
- Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies diligently.
- Support site preparation and cleanup, including excavation, demolition, and landscaping tasks.
- Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Physical stamina and endurance for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow all guidelines.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Rock Forest, Sherbrooke area.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labor.
