In this position, you will operate specialized machinery and skillfully utilize a variety of hand-held tools to achieve mirror-smooth finishes, meticulously remove imperfections such as scratches, chips, and hazing, and ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic perfection of all glass products. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a variety of glass polishing machines and hand tools, including grinders, sanders, and buffers.
- Select and apply appropriate abrasives, polishing compounds, and techniques based on specific glass types and desired finish specifications.
- Thoroughly inspect glass surfaces for imperfections such as scratches, chips, hazing, and other aesthetic or structural defects.
- Perform precise polishing, grinding, and edge-finishing operations to achieve specified quality and aesthetic standards.
- Accurately interpret and meticulously follow technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, including wearing required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate effectively with quality control personnel to ensure all finished products meet required internal and external standards.
- Accurately record production data, track progress, and assist in inventory management of polishing materials and consumables.
