Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and tracking of international shipments (sea, air, road).
  • Learn and apply knowledge of customs regulations, international trade terms (Incoterms), and shipping documentation.
  • Support the preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, and customs entries.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and potential issues.
  • Assist in resolving operational challenges and logistical discrepancies efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems with shipment information.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of global logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping department.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in international trade, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, especially Excel).
