Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of international shipments (sea, air, road).
- Learn and apply knowledge of customs regulations, international trade terms (Incoterms), and shipping documentation.
- Support the preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, and customs entries.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and potential issues.
- Assist in resolving operational challenges and logistical discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems with shipment information.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of global logistics and supply chain processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping department.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus.
