Job Description
Are you a visionary Google Cloud Engineer ready to elevate your career within a company that champions innovation and empowers its engineers to build the future? Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our growing team in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, architecting and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions that drive real-world impact for our diverse client portfolio across various industries. We’re not just looking for someone to maintain; we’re looking for a proactive problem-solver and an infrastructure visionary.
As a Google Cloud Engineer at Career.zycto, you won’t just be maintaining systems; you’ll be a key player in shaping our cloud strategy and delivery capabilities. You’ll be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing critical infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, encompassing everything from Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and network services to advanced data solutions like BigQuery and serverless architectures with Cloud Functions. We believe in continuous improvement and leveraging the full spectrum of GCP’s offerings to create resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized environments. Your expertise will be crucial in building out sophisticated CI/CD pipelines, automating operational tasks through scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform, and ensuring our cloud environments adhere to the highest standards of security, compliance, and cost-efficiency. This includes implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to maintain system health and performance.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting, eager to share knowledge and tackle complex challenges head-on. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software development, product management, and other engineering professionals, translating intricate business requirements into scalable technical specifications and delivering solutions that consistently exceed expectations. Your role will involve constant learning and adaptation as you keep pace with the rapidly evolving Google Cloud ecosystem, bringing new tools, services, and best practices to the team. We value innovative thinking and provide the resources and autonomy necessary for you to explore and implement groundbreaking solutions.
If you are passionate about Google Cloud, possess a strong architectural mindset, and are committed to operational excellence and continuous learning, then Career.zycto is the place for you. We offer an environment where your contributions are highly valued, your professional development is actively supported through training and certifications, and you have the freedom to innovate and shape the future. Come and be part of a team that’s defining the next generation of cloud-powered services and making a tangible difference.
