Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Grant Managers with the preparation, submission, and tracking of grant applications, proposals, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant-related databases and electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Conduct research on potential funding opportunities, donor requirements, and grant guidelines.
  • Compile and organize supporting documentation required for grant submissions, including budgets, narratives, and attachments.
  • Coordinate communication with internal teams and external partners regarding grant-related activities and deadlines.
  • Support the monitoring of grant expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare summaries and basic analyses of grant activity and outcomes as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and prepare agendas and minutes related to grant projects.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the grant administration department.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
