Job Description

The Barrhaven Community Association is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Grant Administration Aide to support our crucial funding initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching potential grant opportunities from various government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors relevant to BCA's mission and projects.
- Prepare, format, and organize grant application packages, including compiling necessary supporting documents, budgets, and narratives.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all grant applications, submissions, deadlines, and outcomes, ensuring all information is current and easily accessible.
- Draft correspondence, reports, and other written materials related to grant applications and existing funded projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams and project managers to gather required information for grant proposals and progress reports.
- Monitor grant reporting schedules and assist with the preparation and submission of interim and final reports to funders, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Support the financial reconciliation process for grants by assisting with expense tracking and budget reviews.
- Provide general administrative support to the Barrhaven Community Association as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing communications, and maintaining office records.
- Ensure all grant-related documentation is stored securely and in compliance with privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative or office support experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with database management.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
