As a Graphic Illustrator, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating original illustrations and visual assets for a wide range of print and digital projects. You will work closely with clients and our design team to understand project requirements, translate complex ideas into engaging visual stories, and ensure that all illustrations align with brand guidelines and project objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and the design team to understand project briefs, target audience, and desired visual style.
- Conceptualize and create original illustrations for a variety of mediums, including marketing collateral, brochures, posters, packaging, social media graphics, and merchandise.
- Develop sketches, storyboards, and mood boards to present initial design concepts for approval.
- Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) to produce high-quality vector and raster illustrations.
- Adapt existing illustrations or create new ones in various styles to meet specific project needs.
- Ensure all illustrations are print-ready, adhering to technical specifications such as color profiles, resolution, and bleed requirements.
- Maintain a consistent brand identity and visual language across all illustrated assets.
- Manage multiple illustration projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining open communication with the team.
- Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and technologies in illustration and graphic design.
- Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new projects.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Graphic Illustrator or similar design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse illustration styles and techniques.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and composition.
- Excellent traditional drawing and sketching skills.
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into engaging visual narratives.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
