Key Responsibilities

  • Watering plants accurately according to specific schedules and plant needs.
  • Assisting with planting, potting, and transplanting seedlings and mature plants.
  • Monitoring plant health, identifying pests or diseases, and reporting issues to supervisors.
  • Performing general greenhouse maintenance, including cleaning, tidying, and organising workspaces.
  • Preparing soil mixes and filling pots for planting.
  • Operating basic greenhouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Harvesting crops, packing, and preparing them for distribution as instructed.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assisting with environmental controls such as ventilation and heating adjustments.
  • Supporting inventory management by counting and labelling plants.

Required Skills

  • Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
