In this role, your responsibilities will extend to ensuring every customer’s purchases are packed securely, efficiently, and appropriately for transport, paying close attention to the nature of items – separating perishables, handling delicate goods, and preventing damage. You will develop a keen eye for organization, learning to sort groceries effectively, and strategically load bags or carts to maximize convenience for our shoppers. Beyond the technical aspects, you’ll be an integral part of our frontline team, working in close collaboration with cashiers and other store associates. Your ability to anticipate needs, maintain a clean and organized bagging area, and assist customers with inquiries or carrying their groceries to their vehicles will greatly enhance the shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and carefully bag customer groceries at the checkout counter.
- Handle delicate items, cold/frozen items, and breakables with extra care.
- Verify proper bagging techniques to prevent damage or spills.
- Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bagging area.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and store interior.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
- Support cashiers and other store staff as directed.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
