Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload, unbox, and stock grocery products, focusing on cooler and freezer sections.
- Ensure proper rotation of products (FIFO – First In, First Out) to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked product displays in refrigerated and frozen aisles.
- Verify product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items from shelves.
- Assist with inventory counts and report low stock levels to supervisors.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and store operational guidelines.
- Assist customers with locating products or answer basic inquiries when needed.
- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including wiping shelves and spills.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
