Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload frozen food deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Stock freezer shelves, display cases, and cold storage rooms according to store planograms and company standards.
- Perform regular stock rotation (FIFO – First-In, First-Out) to ensure product freshness and minimize spoilage.
- Monitor and report any damaged, expired, or substandard products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the freezer and cold storage areas, including regular defrosting and wiping down surfaces.
- Assist customers with locating products or answer basic questions about frozen goods when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as store safety protocols.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or hand trucks safely to move inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to accurate stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive shopping experience.
