Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the visual appeal and freshness of our produce displays, which includes stocking shelves, rotating items, and ensuring proper labeling and pricing. You’ll become adept at identifying quality produce, understanding storage requirements, and minimizing waste. Customer interaction is a key component of this role; you’ll assist shoppers with inquiries, help them locate specific items, and provide friendly, helpful service that enhances their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Stock and rotate produce on shelves and displays, ensuring optimal freshness and visual appeal.
- Assist customers with produce selections, answer questions, and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, including displays, storage areas, and equipment.
- Receive and process produce deliveries, verifying quality, quantity, and ensuring proper storage.
- Monitor product freshness, remove spoiled or damaged items, and minimize waste.
- Operate scales to weigh produce and apply correct pricing labels.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards and company procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
