Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against delivery manifests.
- Efficiently restock grocery shelves, ensuring products are faced, priced correctly, and rotated according to expiry dates (FIFO principle).
- Maintain clean and organized aisles, shelves, and storage areas.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage as directed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment safely and responsibly.
- Monitor product levels and communicate low stock to supervisors.
- Handle and store products properly to minimize damage and waste.
- Provide basic assistance to customers when inquiries arise about product location.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
