Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload deliveries and transport merchandise from the receiving area to sales floor.
- Stock shelves, displays, and refrigerators with new products according to planograms and store standards.
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste (FIFO method).
- Monitor product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged items.
- Maintain clean and organized aisles, removing empty boxes, spills, and debris.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide basic assistance when needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
- Support the overall team effort to ensure a positive and efficient store environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in product placement and rotation.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
