Your daily tasks will be diverse, ranging from landscaping and garden maintenance, including mowing, weeding, planting, and irrigation system upkeep, to assisting skilled tradespeople with tasks such as material handling, site preparation, and debris removal. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of our construction sites and company grounds, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, planting, pruning, and watering landscapes.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of construction sites, offices, and surrounding grounds.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) with various tasks such as fetching tools, mixing materials, and holding equipment.
- Operate and maintain basic hand tools and power tools (e.g., mowers, trimmers, shovels, rakes) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment manually or with assistance.
- Clear debris, waste, and hazardous materials from work areas according to safety protocols.
- Prepare sites for construction activities, including digging trenches, leveling ground, and laying out materials.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents to supervisors promptly.
- Perform other labour-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- First Aid certification is a plus.
