Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and certified Part-Time Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging and effective fitness classes for our diverse community members in the vibrant Southdale area of Edina. This is an incredible opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, guiding them on their wellness journeys through dynamic, well-structured, and inspiring group exercise sessions. We are looking for an individual who is deeply passionate about health and fitness, possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can create an uplifting, inclusive atmosphere that encourages maximum participation and ensures members have a consistently positive, challenging, and safe workout experience.

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be primarily responsible for meticulously planning and expertly delivering a variety of group fitness classes. Your expertise might span High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), strength and conditioning, invigorating dance fitness, rhythmic indoor cycling, or contemplative mind-body practices like yoga and Pilates – all depending on your specific certifications and areas of specialized knowledge. You will be expected to arrive punctually and thoroughly prepared for each session, equipped with carefully crafted class plans that not only cater to different fitness levels and modifications but also strictly adhere to established safety guidelines and best practices in exercise physiology. Your primary goal will be to motivate, inspire, and effectively educate participants, providing clear instructions and constructive feedback while meticulously ensuring proper form and technique to maximize results and prevent potential injuries.

Beyond the invaluable role of leading exceptional classes, you will play a vital part in cultivating and nurturing our thriving fitness community. This involves proactively fostering a welcoming and supportive environment, interacting positively and authentically with members both before and after classes, and being readily available to answer basic fitness-related questions or provide encouraging guidance. You will also contribute to the overall cleanliness, safety, and organization of the fitness studio, ensuring all equipment is properly used, sanitized, and stored, and that the space is always pristine and ready for the next transformative session. This rewarding role demands a high level of sustained energy, unwavering reliability, professional accountability, and a genuine, empathetic desire to help others achieve and surpass their personal fitness goals. If you are a certified fitness professional looking for a truly rewarding part-time position where you can share your passion and expertise to make a meaningful impact, we enthusiastically encourage you to apply and become a key, integral part of our growing, dedicated fitness family here at Career.zycto.
