Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, adhering strictly to established service standards.
  • Efficiently manage guest check-ins and check-outs, accurately processing payments and issuing room keys.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, providing helpful information about the property, services, and local attractions in VGC, Lekki.
  • Handle telephone calls, manage reservations, and respond to correspondence with a polite and helpful attitude.
  • Proactively resolve guest complaints or issues with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex situations to management when necessary to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a pristine and organized front desk and lobby area, ensuring a continuously welcoming atmosphere.
  • Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, security, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure seamless property operations.
  • Assist with luggage handling, taxi arrangements, and other guest services as required, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for all.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a natural ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong, proactive work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (1-2 years) in a guest service, front desk, or customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • A diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the VGC, Lekki area, its amenities, and local attractions.
  • Fluency in additional local languages beyond English (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).
