Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all gym users with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor upon their arrival and departure.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the gym floor, all exercise equipment, changing rooms, restrooms, and common areas at all times, strictly following established cleaning protocols and schedules.
- Regularly inspect, sanitize, and wipe down all exercise machines, free weights, mats, and other gym apparatus throughout operating hours.
- Monitor the gym facility to ensure safe usage of equipment by members and strict adherence to all posted gym rules and safety regulations.
- Provide basic guidance and assistance to members on proper equipment usage and basic spotting techniques, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience.
- Diligently restock essential supplies such as clean towels, water bottles, and sanitization products in designated areas.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, damage, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate management team immediately.
- Assist with the efficient setup and breakdown of equipment for various fitness classes or special wellness events as required.
- Respond to member inquiries, comments, and concerns in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain an organized, appealing, and motivating environment that actively promotes health and fitness.
- Administer basic first aid in case of minor injuries, following established company protocols and seeking professional medical assistance when necessary.
Required Skills
- Fluency in Portuguese (verbal and written) is absolutely essential for effective communication within the team and with gym users.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented personality.
- A genuine passion for health, fitness, and actively promoting wellness within a corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.

- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, move, and adjust gym equipment as needed.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong, proactive work ethic.
- Basic problem-solving skills to address minor issues promptly and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a gym, fitness center, hotel, or a customer service-oriented environment is a significant advantage.
- Basic knowledge of different types of fitness equipment, exercise principles, and general gym etiquette.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable and a significant plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (at a basic conversational level) is considered a valuable asset.
