We are actively seeking a vibrant and customer-focused Part-Time Gym Front Desk Assistant to join our dedicated team in Ebute, Ikorodu. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and check-in members and guests, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage member accounts, including new sign-ups, renewals, updates, and cancellations.
  • Process payments for memberships, personal training sessions, and merchandise accurately.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address in-person inquiries about gym services, classes, and schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
  • Provide tours of the facility to prospective members, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments for personal trainers and other services.
  • Handle and resolve member concerns or direct them to appropriate staff members.
  • Promote gym programs, special events, and retail products to members.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required for various shifts.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality, retail, or fitness environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, point-of-sale systems).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for health and fitness.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with gym management software (e.g., Mindbody, GymMaster).
  • Knowledge of fitness industry trends and terminology.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
