Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior gym instructors in supervising guests during their workouts, ensuring proper form, technique, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Learn and effectively demonstrate the correct and safe use of all gym equipment to guests, providing clear, concise, and encouraging instructions.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization of the gym area, including regular sanitization of equipment and tidying of weights and accessories.
- Support the efficient scheduling and seamless setup of fitness classes and individual training sessions.
- Proactively engage with guests, courteously answer their fitness-related questions, and provide consistent encouragement and motivation.
- Actively participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to continually enhance fitness knowledge and instructional techniques.
- Assist with the accurate inventory management of fitness accessories, supplies, and towels.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, positive, and motivating atmosphere for all gym users and resort guests.
- Adhere strictly to all resort policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Perform light administrative tasks as required by the fitness department manager.
Required Skills
- Basic foundational knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and general fitness principles.
