Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior hardware engineers in the design, development, and testing of electronic circuits and systems.
  • Contribute to the schematic capture and PCB layout processes using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Perform hardware testing, debugging, and validation using various lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Document design specifications, test procedures, and results accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing feedback and actively learning from technical discussions.
  • Research and evaluate new electronic components, technologies, and methodologies to improve existing designs.
  • Support the assembly and prototyping of hardware components.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless product integration.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Familiarity with common lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
  • Basic proficiency with CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., KiCad, Eagle, Altium Designer).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous project experience (academic, personal, or internship) involving hardware design or embedded systems.
  • Basic programming skills in C/C++ or Python for hardware interaction or data analysis.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32) and their peripherals.
  • Understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
