Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule daily routes for haulage vehicles to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Dispatch drivers and assign loads, ensuring optimal utilization of the fleet.
  • Monitor vehicle locations, progress, and performance using GPS tracking and communication systems.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams regarding schedules, delays, and service issues.
  • Respond to and resolve operational issues, emergencies, and breakdowns efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatches, delivery statuses, driver logs, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
  • Process paperwork related to shipments, deliveries, and driver activities.

  • Assist in optimizing routes and operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role.
