Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support patients with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a comforting and respectful environment.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment.
- Assist with patient transfers and ambulation, utilizing proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Document care provided accurately and timely, adhering to facility guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
