Key Responsibilities
- Assist medical practitioners with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring a smooth flow of clinic operations.
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and examination rooms meticulously before and after use, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
- Monitor and accurately record patients' vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information in patient records.
- Provide basic patient care and comfort, including assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, and emotional support as needed.
- Manage clinic inventory, monitoring stock levels of medical supplies and equipment, and placing orders proactively.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records, both physical and electronic, ensuring data integrity.
- Liaise effectively with patients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing essential administrative support.
- Ensure the cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of the entire clinic environment to meet and exceed health and safety standards.
- Assist with patient education, providing clear information on health maintenance and treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, clinical protocols, and company policies at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first approach and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to accurately take vital signs, perform basic patient observations, and assist with clinical procedures.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, both manually and electronically.
