Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment, including changing bed linens and tidying rooms.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comforting atmosphere.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring patients receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to facility guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as oral care, skin care, and toileting.
