Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere.
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with medical procedures and examinations as directed.
- Help with patient transfers, ensuring proper lifting techniques and patient safety.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.

- Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare support role (e.g., care assistant, home health aide).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and adhere to established protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or equivalent.
