Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Support patients with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff or relevant supervisor.
  • Help with light household duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging patients in stimulating activities.
  • Assist with medication reminders as per care plans and under supervision.
  • Accurately document care provided and patient observations.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Support patients in attending appointments or community activities where necessary.

  • Ability to speak local languages (e.g., Yoruba) is an advantage.
