Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Support patient mobility, including transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately.
- Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or mental condition to supervising nurses.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Assist with basic clinical tasks as delegated by a registered nurse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Accurately document care provided and patient observations in charts/records.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with light household duties if providing care in a home setting.
