Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patients' conditions, and accurately document all relevant information, reporting any concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Support patients in maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with light housekeeping tasks within their immediate surroundings.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities and provide companionship, fostering a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
- Assist with patient transfers and repositioning, utilizing proper body mechanics and equipment to ensure patient and personal safety.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding during challenging times.
