Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support client mobility, transfers, and ambulation using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Provide medication reminders and observe for side effects, reporting any concerns.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light household tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engage clients in social activities, conversation, and companionship.
  • Monitor and document client's physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the care coordinator.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and organizational policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team.
