Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support patients with feeding and hydration, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients, ensuring comfort and hygiene.
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning, utilizing appropriate equipment and safe techniques.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere.
- Promptly report any changes in a patient's condition, behavior, or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies and procedures.
- Document care activities, observations, and patient interactions clearly and concisely in patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse individuals.
