Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and respectful personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) as per care plans.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status, behaviour, and well-being to supervisory staff.
- Support clients with medication reminders and simple wound care, under direct supervision where applicable.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship to promote social and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Accurately document care provided and observations in client records.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, clients, and their families.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
