As a Hedge Fund Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of investment management, from macro-economic analysis and sector-specific research to portfolio construction, execution, and ongoing performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement proprietary hedge fund strategies across diverse asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives.
  • Conduct in-depth macroeconomic, sector-specific, and company-level research to identify compelling investment opportunities.
  • Construct and manage multi-asset portfolios, ensuring optimal diversification and adherence to risk parameters.
  • Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate potential investments and manage existing positions.
  • Monitor global financial markets, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes to assess their impact on portfolio performance.
  • Execute trades efficiently and effectively, leveraging advanced trading platforms and market access.
  • Continuously assess and manage portfolio risk using sophisticated models and stress testing.
  • Present investment performance, strategy updates, and market outlooks to senior management and, when applicable, clients.
  • Mentor and guide junior investment professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in investment management, with at least 5 years specifically in hedge fund management or a similar capacity.
  • Proven track record of generating strong, risk-adjusted returns across multiple market cycles.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Expertise in various asset classes, derivatives, and sophisticated trading strategies.
  • Deep understanding of global financial markets, macroeconomic principles, and geopolitical factors.
  • Strong risk management acumen and experience with risk modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex investment concepts.
  • Proficiency with financial software (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon) and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, make critical decisions under pressure, and lead a team effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (MBA), or a related quantitative field.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
  • Experience with alternative investment strategies and illiquid assets.
