Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) and software (operating systems, common applications) issues.
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution using our ticketing system.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and access provisioning.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support teams or specialized technicians as needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  • Educate users on IT best practices, system usage, and common troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and/or macOS.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Prior experience in a customer service role.
  • Experience with remote support tools.
