Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary source research on assigned historical topics and projects.
- Analyze and interpret complex historical data to draw insightful conclusions and identify patterns.

- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, strategy, HR) to provide historical context for current initiatives.
- Maintain and contribute to the organization's historical archives and documentation systems.
- Participate in oral history projects and conduct interviews with key individuals and stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate, and critically assess the reliability and relevance of diverse historical sources.
- Present research findings and historical insights to diverse audiences, both internal and external.
- Stay abreast of new developments in historical methodology, digital humanities, and relevant academic fields.
- Assist in the development of educational materials, exhibitions, or public-facing content when required.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in History, Archival Studies, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in historical research, archives, museums, or academic institutions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in historical research methodologies and critical source analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex historical information into accessible and compelling narratives.
- Experience with archival practices, record management, and historical database systems.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate history, public history, cultural heritage management, or strategic foresight.
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to European history or specific project needs.
