Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
  • Conduct thorough variance analysis, comparing actual financial results to budget and forecast, and provide clear explanations for discrepancies.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support strategic initiatives and critical business decisions.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive presentations and reports for senior management, clearly communicating financial performance, trends, and risks.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in financial planning, analysis, or a related finance role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA, data visualization).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and financial concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualification or actively working towards a relevant professional financial qualification.
  • Experience with specialized financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Workday Adaptive Planning).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
  • Previous experience working in a fully remote or hybrid work setting.
