Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers of financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Prepare detailed financial models to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
- Gather and analyse financial data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of FP&A processes and tools.
- Collaborate with different departments to collect data and understand business operations.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial functions).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
