Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive annual budgets, detailed quarterly forecasts, and strategic long-range financial plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying key performance trends and significant deviations from budget/forecast, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Develop and prepare engaging, comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, to support informed decision-making.
- Support the development, refinement, and maintenance of intricate financial models to accurately forecast revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow across various business units and scenarios.
- Gather, validate, and analyze extensive financial and operational data from diverse internal and external sources to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with different departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, HR) to collect relevant data, understand underlying business drivers, and contextualize financial performance.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and scenario planning as required by senior management, providing timely and accurate financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of all financial data and reports, adhering strictly to internal policies, best practices, and external regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency, data quality, and the overall effectiveness of financial reporting.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling, scenario analysis)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial outputs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote environment
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting concepts, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly to diverse audiences
- Proven experience with financial reporting and data analysis methodologies
