Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support various business initiatives and scenario planning.
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide insightful commentary on key drivers and trends.
- Prepare regular financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management review, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Support the financial due diligence process for new projects or investments.
- Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and ensure data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and reporting.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an FP&A, accounting, or finance role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modelling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
